A-1 mattress inc. was started in 1978 in Tucson, az. We began as a small mattress factory providing standard mattress sizes. From the beginning our goal has been to expand our company and provide our customer with their needs. We began this ambition by introducing custom built mattresses specific to odd, bunk beds and RV’s. this led to providing customers with hospital mattresses, rollaway beds, waterbeds. Our mission is to supply our customers with a pleasant experience as well as a comfortable bed that will supply their needs.

All A-1 Mattresses begin with our customer specifications. We start this process by asking the client what they seek in a bed:firmness, size and medical needs, if any. We take into consideration these answers as well as the patrons age and stature. Processing this information we create a customized bed that we assure the customer will be pleased with.

Our other specialty is creating odd size mattresses and box springs with individual needs. Ranging from antique bed frames to Rv’s. we will send a technician to a customers home to measure the specific needs. And we extend standard size mattresses for extra length.

Most of our mattresses are made from an inner spring coil. We also offer other manmade products such as polyurethane foam.
